Host at The BRAE
The tasting room at The Brae is the perfect Central Otago wedding or function venue for intimate gatherings such as meetings or parties with seating for 16 inside, or up to around 50 including outdoor seating. We can cater for over 100 with the use of marquees.
Whether you're planning a wedding, a birthday celebration, or an end of year Christmas party, we’ve got the space, the views, and the easy-going vibe to make it happen.
Our hilltop venue is relaxed but beautiful, private but full of atmosphere. Inside or out, we’ll help you create an event that feels effortless and memorable, with great drinks, food and good people at the heart of it.
Weddings
The Brae is a gorgeous location for a Central Otago wedding, with stunning hills and vines in all directions. The tasting room itself is a rustic building perched on the hill wrapped in vines, which functions well as the bar for pre and post ceremony drinks. The reception can be outdoor dining, or we can set up a marquee on the lawn.
The vineyard is within walking distance to town, making guest transport to town and local accommodation simple.
With a huge selection of wines, plus beer both on tap and bottled, there is something for every taste. We can arrange platters and grazing tables for you, or you are welcome to bring a caterer on site.
